Therefore, if the letter combination "DAC" appears on a wine label immediately after the name of a wine-growing region (e.g. " Kamptal DAC "), it is a wine with distinctive area characteristics. Only such a wine may bear the name of the region on its label. This brings the origin to the fore and makes the wine unique.
