WINERY LAGLER

The Lagler winery is located in the picturesque village of Spitz on the Danube, in the heart of the Wachau region. Since 1789, the name "Lagler" has been located on the farm Rote Torgasse 10, but it was not until the end of the 70s that the transformation from pure grape producer to winemaker took place.
Karl Lagler junior has been the winery's cellar master since 2003. His goal is "to find the taste of the grape and the site in the wine". Innovation, tradition, closeness to nature and sustainability are the essential cornerstones of the Lagler family. Quality-oriented measures, such as reduced pruning, careful foliage work, thinning out in the summer and selective hand harvesting, form the output for high-quality grapes and thus the basis for the excellent wines.
