WINERY BRIVIO

The Brivio brand was founded in the 80s, when Guido Brivio launched his line of wines, collaborating with the already active winery Gialdi, which from the beginning vinified the grapes of numerous winegrowers from Sottoceneri.

The Brivio line focuses on the production of wines with grapes from the south of Ticino. In 2001, Brivio Vini SA was acquired by Gialdi Vini SA, expanding the wide range of wines from the north of Ticino with wines from the south of the canton. Gialdi Vini currently vinifies about 900,000 kg of grapes, half of which are sent to the wine cellar in Bodio and the other half to the wine cellar in Mendrisio, where the company headquarters are also located. Today is one of the top companies in Swiss viticulture.
