WINERY TSCHERMONEGG

The winery run by Erwin and Sonja Tschermonegg and since 2018 significantly supported by son Franz-Josef is enthroned pretty much at the highest point of the South Styrian Wine Road. The winery cultivates around 33 hectares of vineyards on steep and sun-drenched slopes in southern Styria. Attached to the winery is also a "Ausgezeichneter Steirischer Buschenschank" and guest rooms. The overall concept is marketed under the name "Living by the Wine". The innovative farm was also one of the first sustainably certified farms in Styria. The vineyards are located at an altitude of up to 570 meters above sea level, which naturally makes it much easier to cultivate the vineyards in a way that is close to nature and conserves resources. A barely perceptible cellar facility built into the hillside and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment makes it possible to optimally combine tradition with technical know-how. Annual regional, national and international awards and successes as well as the commitment of the entire family confirm here a leading enterprise for the region.
