WINERY STOCKER
Viticulture has been practiced in the family since the early 1950s. At that time Paul Stocker, planted the first vines in Raiding, Burgenland and began to produce.
After switching to grape delivery at the end of the 80s, the winery was taken over and has been producing wine from its own vineyards again since 2011.
On 1.5 hectares of vineyards in Raiding, they mainly cultivate the grape varieties Blaufränkisch and Shiraz and also Pinot Gris.
The wines from the Stocker winery are - typical of the Central Burgenland terroir - very fruity and powerful. The clay soils of Mittelburgenland with their great water storage capacity are extremely ideal for Blaufränkisch and Shiraz, but also produce a Pinot Gris with a strong character, of which they are very proud.
