WINERY SCHEIBLHOFER
It is located in Andau, in the district of Neusiedl am See, and with its 97 hectares of own land is one of the largest wineries in Burgenland. Known for the noble red wine "Big John", the winery was built up by Johann Scheiblhofer and taken over by son Erich Scheiblhofer in 2000.
Scheiblhofer is one of the pioneers in the field of sustainability and has been distinguished for years by its energy self-sufficient wine production. This is made possible by the photovoltaic system installed on the roofs of the farm buildings, which is the largest private photovoltaic system in Burgenland.
Situated in one of the most ideal wine locations in Austria and owning the most barrique barrels in the country, Scheiblhofer is also considered an important employer in the region.

Winery Scheiblhofer
The winery was founded in 1983 by Johann Scheiblhofer and is located in Andau, in the world-famous wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee. It is characterized by a modern and sustainable wine production. The vineyards cover an area of about 55 hectares and are planted with the best grape varieties, including Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The vines are carefully tended to harvest high quality grapes.
The wines of the Scheiblhofer winery have an excellent reputation and have been awarded numerous national and international prizes. Each wine reflects the unique soil conditions and the special microclimate of the region. A variety of sparkling white wines, elegant reds and noble sweet dessert wines are offered.
