WINERY KNEBEL

The Knebel winery is located in Winningen on the lower Moselle, on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Moselle, which is really not lacking in beauty. Only the crossing A61 spoils the scenic perfection, however, the view from the bridge and bridgehead offers a unique perspective on river, rocks and vines.
The Knebel wine tradition dates back to 1642, the current winery has existed since 1990. In 2003 Matthias Knebel took over after the sudden death of his father Reinhard Knebel. The support of Gernot Kollmann brought about a change at the winery that continues to this day. The wine style has been refined more and more and both the dry and the noble sweet wines are now among the finest of the Moselle.
