Miyagikyo Single Malt Japanese Whisky

In the valley of Miyagi, on Honshu lies the Miyagikyo Distillery of Nikka. Pure air and spring water, this is an excellent base for their malts. Miyagikyo's signature style is a light malt, with lots of fresh fruit flavors and floral texture. Rich scents of flowers and malt accompanied by banana, spicy camphor and anise, slowly some beeswax and toasted oak creep in. Distinct note of barley malt in the center, framed by spicy anise, hot ginger and cinnamon, creamy chocolate notes slowly introduce themselves; spicy tobacco in a coconut coat joins in towards the end. Long and smooth finish, with hints of rose petals, tannins, tropical fruit and spicy nuts with stewed fruit.
