WINERY GESELLMANN

It was in 1719 that the Gesellmann estate was first mentioned in a document. In the 1980s, Engelbert Gesellmann set an important milestone in the history of the winery when he began to cultivate international grape varieties and to age the wines in French barriques.
Today, the winery is run by Albert Gesellmann and his wife Silvia. The vineyards are located on prime sites around Deutschkreutz and have been farmed purely organically since 2015. The grapes are harvested by hand and the berries are carefully selected so that only the best is made into wine. In the cellar, the most modern techniques are then used, always in consideration of the traditions and the regional style of the wines!
