The pursuit of the unattainable, of perfection in wine, is what motivates and drives the Gager family every day at their eponymous winery. Since 1984, the family business has specialized in the production of high-quality red wines, and vintage after vintage, the demands become higher.
The Gagers' credo, in the form of an eye-catching square label, is emblazoned on every single bottle of wine. Unmistakably, the "squaring of the wine", derived from a classical problem of geometry, stands for the seemingly unattainable goal of the family business: creating the perfect wine.
Already the very first vintage was awarded, year after year there are more awards and prizes. The exceptionally full-bodied, compact red wines are known and appreciated not only within Austria - they are also enjoyed far beyond the country's borders. The Gagers are regarded as specialists in the production of red wine and pursue this with passion every day.
