WINERY FEILER-ARTINGER

The Feiler-Artinger winery is a family business deeply rooted in the region and the free city of Rust. In 1936, Gustav and Karoline Feiler laid the foundation stone with the purchase of the baroque town house at Hauptstraße 3. Since 1994, son Kurt Feiler has also been working in the business. Together with his wife Katrin, he has been primarily responsible for the winery since 2013.

The Feiler-Artinger winery has become world-famous for its superb noble sweet wines, especially the Ruster Ausbruch. But in Rust one feels obliged to the whole wine trilogy white, red and sweet wine, because the climatic conditions allow best results also with dry white and red wines. The top of the range is the Ruster Ausbruch DAC.

The grapes for this Blaufränkisch come from the Umriss vineyard. Due to the poor, chalky soil and rigorous yield reduction, the grapes are very ripe year after year.
