EPISCOPAL WINERIES OF TRIER

The vineyards of the Episcopal Seminary cover 34 hectares of land, including sites such as Erdener Treppchen and Trittenheimer Apotheke on the Mosel, Kaseler Nies'chen on the Ruwer and Ayler Kupp on the Saar.

The Bischöfliches Konvikt's vineyards cover around 40 hectares of land on all three rivers: Piesporter Goldtröpfchen and Avelsbacher on the Moselle, Ayler Kupp on the Saar, Eitelsbacher Marienholz and Kaseler Kehrnagel on the Ruwer. The Duisburger Hof in Eitelsbach, which belongs to the Episcopal Convent, is still used today as a press house for all grapes harvested on the Moselle and Ruwer.
