TENUTA IL BOSCO WINERY

The Il Bosco estate has a special vocation for the production of sparkling wines according to the classic method and for fine DOC wines. In the historic underground cellars, the spumanti, for which the Oltrepò Pavese area is famous, are refined for years using the traditional method of secondary fermentation in the bottle.
With 152 hectares of productive vineyards, the Il Bosco winery is one of the largest in the Oltrepò Pavese sector. The vines are cultivated according to the Guyot system with renewed fruiting canes and cordon training with cone pruning. During the expansion phase, much attention was reserved for the main grape variety of the Oltrepò - the Pinot Nero, which has expressed all its class and personality for over two centuries.
