WINERY STUBITS

The family business cultivates vineyards in southern Burgenland, mainly on the Csaterberg. Planted is mainly Welschriesling, but also rarities such as Sämling. The red wines are dominated by Blaufränkisch, as is the case everywhere in the region, and Merlot is also cultivated.

With the wine development there are: the local wines "Csaterberg/Harmisch" stand for site wines matured in large wooden barrels with pronounced fruit and minerality as well as balanced tannins. For the "Riedenweine" the most exciting single vineyard sites are used, whereby the characterful varietal typicality is always in the foreground. Especially the southern Burgenland is known for its exciting, mineral red wines, especially the Eisenberg, so to speak the "big brother" of the Csaterberg.
