Radio Coteau
RADIO COTEAU WINERY
Radio Côteau is the French expression for word-of-mouth propaganda, for passing on knowledge and experience. The expression fascinated winemaker Eric Sussman so much that he named his small winery, founded in 2002, after it. He first heard the term in 1995 when he was working in Burgundy and experienced that traditions and knowledge are passed on orally, which is why he dedicated himself and his small winery to this old experiential knowledge. He turned "Radio Coteau" into a programmatic concept.
He works with grapes that come from cool-climate plots. These in turn are located in Western Sonoma Country and Anderson Valley. The aim is to produce lively, well-balanced and sustainable wines. With the exception of the Chardonnay, all wines are produced according to biodynamic guidelines and bottled unfiltered.
