WINERY HAMMEL
Hammel is one of the largest wine producers in Switzerland. The company was founded in 1921 and today cultivates around 350 hectares throughout Switzerland. However, the focus is clearly on the growing regions of Vaud and Valais. Charles Rolaz, who heads the company, began early on to specialize in the production of expressive blends. In this field, he is one of the pioneers in Switzerland, which is still evident today in the high quality of the various Hammel assemblages.
In total, no less than 35 grape varieties are cultivated. They represent an impressive range, from dry wines to sweet wines. Every year these wines are awarded with the highest honors in national and international competitions.
