Domaine de l'Aurage. An up-and-coming winery in the hinterland of Saint Emilion, since 2007 with fine wines on the way to a promising future, which stands for the whole of Bordeaux, because Bordeaux is dead as far as the big names and expensive labels are concerned, but Bordeaux lives more than ever where the wineries are manageable, their owners are personally involved in the vineyard and the prices are still affordable.

Louis Mitjavile, eldest son of Milute and François Mitjavile of Château Le Tertre Roteboeuf in Saint Emilion, is one of the most talented young winemakers in Bordeaux. Despite his youth, he can look back on a long list of excellent wines produced under his aegis.
