Château Brun

CHATEAU BRUN

Château Brun is situated on a south-west facing hill. The soil consists of clay and limestone. As a result, the vineyards benefit from optimal drainage and therefore ideal ripening conditions for the grapes. The main grape variety is Merlot, typical of the region, which is complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The winery has only 11 hectares of vineyards and produces around 55,000 bottles per year, only one wine, but of excellent quality. There is no second wine at Château Brun.
Château Brun works with one of the best oenologists in the country: Gilles Paquet, who is also responsible for Châteaux Ausone and Cheval Blanc.
