Alexander Vik - Norwegian entrepreneur and wine lover - founded the winery in 2004 with the vision of creating a world-class vineyard that would provide the optimal conditions for the vines to ripen. Together with a team of enologists, climate specialists, geologists, agronomists and viticulturists, he searched for the best terroir with optimal climatic conditions. They found what they were looking for in the Millahue Valley - which translates as "place of gold" - and in 2006 he launched his wine project. With great success - as his creations prove.
