Rocca di Montemassi is a farm located in Maremma, which extends to the ore-rich hills (Colline Metallifere) on one side and to the sea on the other, embracing the many facets of this corner of Maremma Toscana: the soil bursting with life and rich in treasures, the explosion of light, the austere, at times rustic nature. The vineyards, stretching over hills and gentle slopes, are home to local and international varieties that thrive equally well and, thanks to the combination of modern technology and ancient knowledge, produce precious wines full of strength and character. In addition to the cultivation of ancient cereals, the keeping of the prestigious Maremma cow and the experimental garden contribute to a multifaceted mosaic.

TASTING NOTE

In this glowing red wine, the flagship of the Rocca di Montemassi winery, the character of the place and the aristocratic lineage of the vineyards that produce it find their brilliant reflection: Petit Verdot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon. In the glass, a sensual parable in which the characteristics of the three original grapes come together in a rarely precious way, embodying in a wonderful painting the unique terroir and spirit of this land: the bold scents of black fruits, spices and vegetation, a sip like the harmonious sound of a harp with the numerous nuances of the different grape varieties, moderate in an expressive and full character with a never-ending finish.
