PERRIN FAMILY WINERY

The heart of the Perrin family's estate, dedicated to viticulture since 1909, is the nearly 100-hectare stately Château de Beaucastel, perched on a hill northeast of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and one of the most impressive estates in France. Perrin has been farmed according to the principles of biodynamic viticulture since 1964 (!) and is kept at an average vine age of 50 years by a sophisticated rotation system.

Due to the exclusive use of organic fertilizers, the winery was spared from many diseases. Today, a great many bees and birds, crickets and ladybugs live in Beaucastel.
Nature and traditional methods are the Perrin family's assets and this knowledge has been seamlessly passed down for 5 generations.

Medium to full-bodied and incredibly concentrated, with bright white currants, green almonds, honeyed minerals and spice-driven flavors. The balance is nearly perfect, as is the purity of the fruit, and this incredible white is one of the top releases of the vintage.

Tasting note

Made 100% from very old vines of Roussanne, harvested slightly above the ripening point. One of the very great white wines. Rich and dense on the nose as you would expect from a Roussane. Typical rosemary and anise paired with other herbs of Provence. Full-bodied and incredibly concentrated, with bright white currants, green almonds, honeyed minerals and spice-driven flavors. The balance is nearly perfect, as is the purity of the fruit. This incredible white wine is one of the top releases of the vintage.
