PERRIN FAMILY WINERY

The heart of the Perrin family's estate, dedicated to viticulture since 1909, is the nearly 100-hectare stately Château de Beaucastel, perched on a hill northeast of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and one of the most impressive estates in France. Perrin has been farmed according to the principles of biodynamic viticulture since 1964 (!) and is kept at an average vine age of 50 years by a sophisticated rotation system.

Due to the exclusive use of organic fertilizers, the winery was spared from many diseases. Today, a great many bees and birds, crickets and ladybugs live in Beaucastel.
Nature and traditional methods are the Perrin family's assets and this knowledge has been seamlessly passed down for 5 generations.

Immediately rich, with plum scents and a dash of cassis running through it. A medium-bodied, very classic vintage with good freshness. Has a good sense of weight and drive, not endlessly deep but perfectly balanced. Should age medium if not long term, but more importantly it is extremely tasty, balanced and fresh.
