WINERY KERSCHBAUM

The Kerschbaum winery produces wines with perfection and responsibility. As pioneers in Blaufränkisch in Austria and ambassadors for the Mittelburgenland, they produce top wines typical of the terroir. Uncompromising quality and a passion for Blaufränkisch characterize the winery in Burgenland. The mild climate, plenty of sun and the special soil in Horitschon influence the taste of our wines, which are among the best red wines in Austria. We work the vineyards with the utmost respect and in harmony with nature. On our top sites in Mittelburgenland, red wine grape varieties such as Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt feel particularly at home. Perfection in all areas ensures wines with maturity & character.

This cuvée also called the "little phantom" is aged in large oak barrels (Slavonian oak) and has a bright ruby red with violet hues, fruity-mineral nose, fragrant of cherries, blackberries on the palate, soft and plump finish. Combines the warmth of Zweigelt with the spiciness of Blaufränkisch.
