WINERY JURTSCHITSCH

The Jurtschitsch winery has long been an almost ideal example of the highest Austrian wine culture. Alwin and Stefanie Jurtschitsch have been managing the estate for some time now and are reinterpreting the claim to top quality wine in their own way.

For the two of them, this means vinifying wines that are as authentic, complex and terroir-specific as possible with a cool, elegant style - in other words, giving individual expression to the Langenlois vineyards. New parameters, which in reality go back to old traditions, form the basis for this: organic farming methods, healthy soils, minimal intervention in the cellar and constant experimentation in order to keep track of the inexhaustible richness of the wine world.

Tasting note

Art and wine have come together once again and are entering their 34th joint edition. Christian Ludwig Attersee's dynamic label image with the title "GrüVe-Artistin" once again refers to the spirited and lively character that has always been inherent in our light-footed Grüner Veltliner. The standards are high: moderate yields, selective hand-picking and careful vinification ensure a vital, animating, fruity & refreshing wine that can be used as an aperitif and as a versatile accompaniment to Austrian classics. Bright greenish-yellow, delicately spicy on the nose, light and spicy on the palate, with crisp acidity and a lovely flow. Original work of art by Christian Ludwig Attersee.
