Alta Vista is a specialist in Malbec, the originally French and now typically Argentine grape variety.
Among the extensive vineyards are also some vineyards with very old vines. The quality from these old vines comes out wonderfully, especially in the premium and reserve wines. The bodega itself is still very young, was founded in 1997 and is located in the best growing area in Argentina.
The location at 1000 meters above sea level guarantees the best conditions such as sufficient sunlight, the grapes achieve a wonderful balance of sugar, acidity, tannins and colorants. The winery is managed today by Patrick d'Aulan, he combines French winemaking art with the great terroir of Mendoza.
