Valpolicella wine

Valpolicella is a red wine from Italy made from the Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grape varieties. Valpolicella wines have a number of characteristic features, which include:

- Light to medium body: Unlike many other Italian red wines, Valpolicella has a rather light to medium body. The wine is therefore well suited for everyday drinking.

- Fruity aromas: Valpolicella is known for its fruity character and often offers aromas of cherries, berries and plums.

- Low Tannin: Valpolicella wines often have low levels of tannins, making them more approachable than some other Italian red wines.

- Fresh acidity: wines from the Valpolicella region often have a well-balanced acidity that counteracts the fruity aromas and light body of the wine.

- Aromatic Variety: Valpolicella can be produced in a number of different styles, including the well-known higher-quality and long-aged variety Amarone della Valpolicella. In all styles, however, the wine offers a wide range of aromas and flavors, from fruity to spicy to smoky and earthy.

Overall, Valpolicella is a wine suitable for everyday use, which convinces with its lightness and fruitiness and can be enjoyed on many occasions.
