PRINCIPI DI BUTERA WINERY
In deepest Sicily, where golden light forms a mosaic of multicolored stones under a clear sky, lies an oasis of rare beauty. We are talking about the home of the great autochthonous Sicilian wines and the adopted home of Nero d'Avola. The winery extends over one of the most mineral-rich areas of the island, just a few steps from the Mediterranean coast, between the Valley of the Temples and Piazza Armerina. The diversity and biological richness of the soils, as well as the peculiarity of a microclimate favored by the sea breeze, make these lands rich in tradition, which belonged to the princes of Butera, the ideal place for sustainable viticulture and a unique reserve of biodiversity.
