WINERY ZONIN
Casa Vinicola Zonin cultivates a proud 2,000 hectares, and yet this Italian winery is a family business, the largest of its kind in Italy. And that's just how it is: In addition to Papa Gianni, the "Presidente," his three sons are also on board. Very gradually, the winery has become so large, because it has been around for seven generations, and little by little vineyards have been added. But not just anywhere, the Zonins rely on renowned growing areas: Tuscany, Veneto, Piedmont, Friuli, Lombardy, Sicily and Puglia. "Each region has its own traditions and its own wine," Gianni Zonin puts it aptly. The latest project is a vineyard in Virginia in the United States.
