WINERY KNOLL
The high profile and popularity of Emmerich Knoll wines speaks for itself. However, it is not only the contents of the wine bottles that enjoy cult status, but also their label. Striking, magnificent, extroverted and golden - the significant label depicts St. Urban after a painting by Siegfried Stoitzner and is a perfect match for the unmistakable wines.
90 percent of the grape varieties are split between Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. The remaining 10 percent of the vines are made up of Gelber Muskateller, Chardonnay, Gelber Traminer and Blauer Burgunder. The best-known Knoll wines come from the Schütt, Kellerberg, Loibenberg, Pfaffenberg and Kreutles vineyards. Most of the wines ferment and mature in large wooden barrels, giving them an unmistakable taste.
