The Dr. von Bassermann-Jordan winery is a company with a long family tradition of over 300 years. Since 1718, generation after generation have worked with expertise and flair to perfect top Palatinate wines and have thus made it to the top of the world. Tradition and economic modernity have always been one and the same. In Deidesheim, precious wines are traditionally matured in wooden barrels in the centuries-old sandstone vaults. Bassermann-Jordan sparkling wine is also produced there in traditional bottle fermentation.
In the modern wine press and cellar, on the other hand, the wine is vinified at the highest technical level in a modern, fruit-driven style. Great importance is attached to a careful, natural fermentation without artificial additives.

The unique terroir, characterized by loamy sand and weathered red sandstone, gives the wine an impressive minerality and complexity. Juicy aromas of green apple, citrus fruit and ripe pears unfold on the nose, giving the wine an invigorating freshness.

On the palate, the Deidesheimer Leinhöhle Riesling impresses with its appealing juiciness and the sparse minerality of the soil. This lively balance makes it the perfect accompaniment to exotic salads, creamy pasta dishes with seafood or on its own.
