Sparkling wine

With the introduction of the highest Austrian sparkling wine category, Sekt Austria, domestic producers set the course for uncompromising quality in sparkling wine in 2015. Since then, consumers have been able to recognize Austrian spark ling wine of protected origin and certified quality at a glance: by the red-white-red banderole on the capsule and the three categories Sekt Austria, Sekt Austria Reserve and Sekt Austria Große Reserve, which only Sekt Austria is allowed to list on the label.

Sparkling wine Austria Perfect as an aperitif, Sekt Austria also harmonizes wonderfully with lightly smoked dishes, such as freshwater fish like trout and char, as well as with light, even spicy finger foods.
Sparkling wine Austria Reserve Sekt Austria Reserve is the golden foaming middle ground and a correspondingly versatile food companion: stronger antipasti, white meat, poultry, well-seasoned vegetable dishes, rice and pasta dishes - the list could be continued endlessly. Tip: With a little residual sweetness, the reserve becomes a brilliant cheese companion!
Sparkling Wine Austria Great Reserve With its substantial but extremely elegant structure, Sekt Austria Große Reserve shines as a solo player on special occasions - and even more so as an accompaniment to more substantial dishes: It adds the finishing touch to full-bodied vegetable dishes, white meat and poultry, as well as pâtés, seafood, and luscious fish such as smoked salmon and - with a little residual sweetness - sweet and spicy Asian fish dishes.
